Crazy Viking Studios Presents: Original Music!

 

I stepped big time out of my comfort zone (Kristofor Durrschmidt aka Daywalkyr here) to create this first commercial album. It took me a several months of late evenings to secretly make this album or when no one else was at home.

 

Contrary to popular belief, I am a pretty shy person and I don't know why but I felt embarrassed making this for some reason. Maybe out of sense of epically failing, I don't know. Maybe I did? Time will tell. I have always made music my whole life but have never shared it until now.

**I wanted to make** as much of the music and **put as much of myself** into it as I could. Most of the instruments were taken from actual music I wrote and played on my digital keyboard connected to PC. Creating a lot of the 1st pass songs in FL Studio etc. (I had to do trickery to get my old software to work I haven't used it in so long)

I had a story I wanted to tell with this and I hope that came across with these songs. There is a beginning, middle and end to it.

Anytime you creatively pour yourself into something and show it to the world (even with some artificial help) it kind of feels like accidentally showing up in public naked and it feels pretty crazy vulnerable.

Anyway - I hope you guys give it a listen, I would love to know what you thought of it.

Now that I am done with this (Whew) I can get back to working on my video games (for now).
